Casa Apertura is a study in light and restraint—where heritage is restored and modernity revealed. Set behind a faithfully returned Victorian façade in Rathdowne Village, the home unfolds as a contemporary residence shaped by the Japanese concept of Ma, where space, pause and simplicity define the experience. Natural light guides the architecture, drawn in through slender skylights and balanced apertures that shift throughout the day. A restrained palette of warm grey joinery, pale oak and Super White marble creates continuity, while black steel and reeded glass introduce contrast.
The result is a calm, refined home—designed for contemporary family living, where clarity, materiality and light exist in quiet harmony.
